Onyx 'Minkie' Pie
Minkie Pie is one of the main bakers in the Muffins saga. However, this variant of the character does not belong to the author of the original fanfic, and it was instead designed by Rainbott for the Muffins fandom! The creation of Onyx 'Minkie' Pie is meant to be a way for the creepypasta fandom to reclaim Minkie as a character and separate her from uncomfortable elements of the source material. For this reclamation, a variety of fan artists have given permission to have their Muffins artwork used in this page's gallery! To ensure that our Minkie cannot be confused with the original, all artwork in the gallery has been digitally altered to match her new design (with consent from each fan artist)!
This truly is an incredible community of extremely talented creators. I highly encourage everyone interested in this page to check out all of the fan artists in the gallery! Each image includes a link to the artist's social media, where you can show them lots of love! To have your own artwork featured in Minkie’s gallery, be sure to tag Rainbott in your post on Instagram or Twitter. For information about the fanfiction, please view the Muffins saga tab on this page. It's important to acknowledge what the original fanfic was! Personality
Minkie is often very difficult to read due to her reserved nature and a general lack of social awareness. She rarely raises her voice and is very soft spoken. She can be quite bashful in public since she struggles to trust others, but she is able to relax in the company of her fellow bakers, especially Derpy. Minkie rarely feels confident whenever she isn’t baking, often taking comfort in the complete control she has over victims. Because most of her life was spent in confinement, she is easily impressed by the mundane and enjoys learning new information. However, she views the world as a very cruel and dangerous place, so she is often the most cautious baker of the team. Minkie is also someone who loves others easily, since she can be swept up by genuine displays of kindness, but she usually keeps her admiration to herself and loves life from a distance. She believes that she is meant to observe the world around her, since she was never expected to escape her imprisonment, and she is afraid of what may break if she were to interfere. The bakers help bring out this softer part of her, yet Minkie still struggles to be truly vulnerable with anyone else.
It may seem odd for her to enjoy dissecting ponies when she loves and admires others easily, but Minkie has been conditioned by her sisters to believe that this is a normal part of life. Thus, she views each dissection as an opportunity to experiment and learn more about the ponies, whether it be kind strangers she adores from afar or cruel bullies she doesn’t understand.
Cutie mark
Her cutie mark is a black key with a heart at the top. This is meant to symbolize her talent for opening others’ minds to new possibilities and sharing her desire to unlock the secrets of the world she’s always longed to explore.
(In a more meta context, this key can also represent the fandom’s reclamation unlocking new possibilities for the character…)
Biography
Backstory
Minkie was the first and oldest Pie sister. As a filly, she asked a lot of questions and was fascinated by the world beyond the family rock farm. Her intrigue was sparked by a beautiful butterfly she spotted out in the fields of the farm. She’d never seen such a beautiful creature, so she thought the winged insect might be an angel. Later, while cleaning her family’s cabin, Minkie discovers that the very same butterfly dead in the pantry. Despite being heartbroken by the loss of such a beautiful thing, Minkie is also fascinated by how the creature’s body worked, specifically how its wings gave it the ability to fly. Minkie began to dissect insects and study them, taking notes and comparing them to books at the village library on her parents’ weekly trips into the marketplace. Minkie’s parents were disturbed by their daughter’s fascination, seeing it as wicked and wrong. When she was discovered examining the body of a dead bird, her parents decided that she was evil and ordered her to stop her studies.
Minkie didn’t understand why her interests upset her parents so much. Why did death have to be a bad thing? She only wanted to understand how the world worked. Surely, there had to be all sorts of ways to do things, like flying! She sought to discover these truths of the world, even if her methods were unconventional by nature.
This would all change when Blinkie, the second oldest Pie sister, was born. Minkie’s parents warned her not to show her baby sister any of her notes, insisting that she would be punished if she disobeyed. At this time, her parents were fully convinced that Minkie was a child of Discord; a pony brought into the world to sow the seeds of chaos and evil into all that they touched. While ponykind may not be religious by any means, the ancient stories of Celestia and Luna have been passed down through generations, and Discord’s legacy is one that left a dark shadow over the parts of Equestria he had previously ruled. For instance, the family’s rock farm is built on land that was left too barren for nature to return after Discord’s defeat, which only added to their fears that their firstborn daughter was depraved.
About 1 year later, their parents were expecting another filly. Minkie took her baby sister outside to play, but the two became distracted when a new butterfly landed on the porch beside them. Not knowing any better, Blinkie was drawn to the insect’s bright colors and stomped on it. Minkie was horrified. Fearing that their parents would grow to hate Blinkie for following in her footsteps, Minkie framed herself and took the blame for the butterfly’s death. This was the final straw for their parents, who saw this as a disobedient child sharing her wicked teachings onto their newborn. Minkie was locked in a cellar beneath the rock farm, abandoned with little to eat and no one to answer her endless stream of questions. It was during her time in prison that she earned her cutie mark, when she spent years trying to escape and always yearned for more.
Main Story
When she had first been imprisoned, Minkie was 8 years old. Roughly 16 years later is when she was found by her sisters, Blinkie and Inkie. At this time, Pinkie had already moved to Ponyville and Maud was far away studying geology, so the two sisters who remained on the family farm were the ones to help Minkie escape.
The story events from this point on are considered to be part of the Muffins saga timeline! To keep this main page less cluttered, I have created a tab with short summaries of every installment in the series. This summary has been edited slightly to fit Rainbott’s rendition of the story and character, along with Minkie’s backstory!
Please go to the Muffins Saga tab to read the complete story.
Relationships
Derpy Whooves
Minkie took a liking to Derpy very quickly, since they were both considered to be outcast from society for thinking differently. Minkie tends to be fairly pessimistic due to how anxious she is, but Derpy is far more outgoing and she always helps brighten Minkie’s day. The two have become an inseparable pair, even amongst their fellow bakers. In Rainbott’s rendition of the character, Minkie and Derpy are canonically dating.
The Bakers
Minkie’s relationship with the other bakers is pretty good! They’re her friends, her family, and they all love her just as much as she loves them. Within the Pie sisters themselves, Minkie is the oldest (26). Next is Blinkie (21), then Maud (20), then Pinkie (20), and Inkie (18). She becomes good friends with Applebloom and Babs as well, since they all enjoy studying how things work.

Notes
- Minkie is canonically an ace lesbian!
- While Minkie was originally created to fill the role of Pinkie’s mysterious third sister, who had previously only been referenced in the chapter book, “Pinkie Pie and The Rocking Ponypalooza Party”, we love Maud too much to not include her in the story as the fifth Pie sister!
- Rainbott’s ideal voice for Minkie is Jane Doe from Ride the Cyclone
- Due to being trapped in a cellar for the majority of her life, Minkie has a very large lack of social awareness, but she still has an extreme eye for detail. Since she is inquisitive and skeptical by nature, this is how she can reliably infer if someone is being dishonest.
- She really likes flowers and insects, especially butterflies!
Muffins Saga
The Muffins Saga was a grimdark fanfiction that began in 2013, created by a YouTuber who would record narrated videos for each installment of the series. This story was a spin-off to the infamous MLP creepypasta, Cupcakes. Thirty seven stories were written for the series before it would go on a permanent hiatus in 2017.
We will refrain from naming or discussing the fanfic’s author on this page out of respect for their privacy, but we encourage you to read about the story’s origins online if you are ever curious. While this is a reclamation project, it is still very important to acknowledge and understand where the source material came from.
With that being said, this page will not be used to recount all of the original fanfiction’s stories, but it will instead summarize the rewritten versions of the story created by Rainbott. If you want to read the original fanfiction or compare it to the rewrite, you can find the series on Deviantart or Quotev. There are also video recordings available in an Internet Archive, albeit somewhat out of order.
For the sake of clarity, Rainbott’s rewrite of the story will be referred to as Icing on the Cake.
If that title is too long, simply calling this project Muffins Rescripted works just fine!
When sharing fan art for this story or any characters from it, please use one of the two titles listed above. We do not want this rewrite to be confused with the original!
Last but not least, we want to give a big round of applause to the Muffins Fandom Wiki and all of the incredible people who work on it. Keeping track of such a long fanfiction is not an easy task, but this site has summaries available for each installment of the original series. These summaries were heavily referenced to create the rewrite’s guide down below.
The Missing Key
Instead of documenting these stories based on the original fanfiction's publication dates, each installment will be listed in chronological order. Thus, the backstories are up first!
Minkie Pie wakes up in her family's cellar, where she soon discovers that the basement door is locked. After failing to escape, she decides to wait out the night to get her parents' attention in the morning.
In a flashback, we learn about who Minkie is.
Back in the present, Minkie wakes up again to her parents' commotion behind the door. Cloudy Quartz enters the cellar to express deep hatred towards Minkie because of her behaviour and accuses Minkie of being evil.
In another flashback, we see the specific event that got Minkie locked away. Minkie took her little sister outside to play, but the two became distracted when a new butterfly landed on the porch beside them. That night Minkie falls asleep during dinner only to later wake up in the cellar.
Finally, in the present again, Minkie’s parents were fully convinced that she was a child of Discord; a pony brought into the world to sow the seeds of chaos and evil into all that they touched. Thus, Minkie was locked in the cellar beneath the rock farm, abandoned with little to eat and no one to answer her endless stream of questions. It was during her time in prison that she earned her cutie mark, when she spent years trying to escape and always yearned for more.
Pinkie Pie's Project
A week after the sonic rainboom where Pinkie Pie got her cutie mark, she bakes her very first batch of cupcakes. Unfortunately, her sisters claim that the cupcakes are average, insisting there was something missing. She tries again and again to recreate the magic of the baked goods at her first party, but nothing seems to do the trick. Pinkie continues to lament her failure during her family’s trip into the nearby village, where she runs off into the marketplace to play with her sisters. While their parents shop for ingredients, the Pie sisters all play a game of hide and seek in the marketplace, one that eventually leads to Pinkie Pie discovering a puppet show being performed at the center of town. The puppets are telling the story of Nightmare Moon, recounting the wicked alicorn’s battle with Celestia.
According to the puppet show, Nightmare Moon was a monster with a terrible sweet tooth, and nothing would satisfy it more than the blood of little ponies! Every evening, she would kidnap civillians and bring them to her lair, where she feasts upon sweet pony flesh all night long. Her reign of terror only came to an end when Princess Celestia banished her to the moon. Even so, there is one day each year when she saves enough strength to return to Equestria, and Nightmare Moon prowls in the shadows in search of treats. Ponies are said to taste sweeter than any fruit or syrup, so citizens would begin leaving candy outside of their doorsteps as an offering to the dark alicorn. If their offering of candies satisfied Nightmare Moon’s craving for sweets, she would spare them and move on to the next house.
Pinkie thinks about the puppet show all afternoon, but it isn’t until later that night that she makes a life changing discovery. The legend of Nightmare Moon was only supposed to be an old mare’s tale, but Pinkie accidentally cuts herself on a cheese grater while raiding the pantry late at night, and she discovers that pony blood really does taste just as sweet as the story said. This gives her an idea to make her cupcakes the best.
When Pinkie’s parents send her off to the marketplace to buy supplies for the rock farm, she drugs a filly around her age and dissects her to make a new batch of cupcakes. Later that day, she offers her sisters the frosted treats, which they love. From then on, Pinkie starts harvesting local ponies for cupcakes until her sisters discover the truth. To Pinkie's surprise, Inkie and Blinkie are fully supportive of the idea and they even begin helping her with the cupcake making. Maud wants no part in the operation, but she still keeps her sisters’ secret to protect them from harm. The story ends with Pinkie announcing her leave to Ponyville, where she plans to spread smiles and her special cupcakes.
Beauty Lies Within
After Pinkie Pie had left the rock farm, Maud was quick to follow, travelling away to live with distant family in the mountains and study geology. The rock farm was dull and grim with the Pie twins gone, leaving the two remaining sisters at a loss of what to do. Inkie decides to pass the time by playing with a pouch of marbles in her room, but the task quickly becomes mundane when there’s hardly anyone left to play with, and Blinkie doesn’t like sitting still to play marbles for long. Their parents only became more strict with each passing day, seemingly for no reason at all. When Inkie expressed interest in drawing pictures of the butterflies near the farm, Cloudy Quartz became furious and tore the drawing apart, demanding that the young filly never suggest such a ludicrous idea ever again. Even if the butterflies are beautiful, they’re extremely weak and fragile, so she should drop her interest in them altogether in order to focus on stronger stuff that actually matters. Inkie, rather than find this concept disappointing, instead chooses to ponder the potential of this theory. If everyone always associated beauty with weakness, maybe that would be a good way to lure others into a false sense of security? She could make a good royal guard! However, as soon as the idea of weapons is brought up, Inkie Pie is shut down by their parents once again.
Nonetheless, Inkie's feelings ran high when Cloudy Quartz discovered and broke a record player that the girls had bought and had been hiding. When Inkie tries to stand up for herself and her sister, she gets slapped by her mother, so she runs away to a nearby cave to have a meltdown. She earns her cutie mark by using her marbles to chip away the surface of a large stone, revealing a beautiful geode inside. The sisters conclude from the experience that Inkie shouldn't bottle everything up and hide who she is. The story ends with Inkie Pie standing up against Cloudy Quartz and promising her sister that someday they will leave the rock farm.
Stuck in the Limelight
Shortly after Inkie Pie earned her cutie mark, all eyes were on Blinkie. After all, Pinkie earned her cutie mark after the sonic rainboom and Maud earned hers shortly after she moved to study geology in the mountains. Blinkie was, supposedly, the eldest Pie sister, yet she didn’t have her cutie mark. Their parents frown upon this, especially Igneous Rock, who informs Blinkie that it will be her responsibility to take over the family business and watch out for her sisters. Deciding that she needed to do more work to pull her weight around the farm, Igneous Rock leaves to take Blinkie on a roadtrip to collect supplies from a more distant city. Before she leaves for the trip, Inkie asks her sister to bring her a new pouch of marbles to play with, since her old ones got damaged when she flung them around the caves.
In the big city, Blinkie is blown away by the sheer scale of everything. She’d never seen so many brilliant colors and flashing lights! As they roam the streets, Igneous scoffs at the pretty mares they pass by, calling them snobs and sellouts. If a mare needed to put on that much makeup, she was clearly trying to use the stallions around her to get ahead. Her father’s complaints and rants made Blinkie believe that she could never be beautiful like the city mares, instilling a deep hatred towards any pretty girls she envies. Finally, the two arrive in the shopping district and begin to barter for supplies. When Igneous Rock informs the shopkeepers that Blinkie is his farm’s rightful heir, she decides to act as the perfect breadwinner to impress him. She manages to smooth talk each of the shops into giving them better deals, all except for the very last one; the toy store. The salesman refuses to sell her the marbles, claiming that these toys aren’t meant to be played with by delicate little fillies. When the shopkeeper makes a comment insulting fillies who play with them, something in Blinkie snaps and she tears into the shopkeeper with a furious rant. By the time her fit of anger is done, she’s left the store with a new bag of marbles and her very own cutie mark. When they return back home, Blinkie tells her sister everything, and Inkie insists that Blinkie is much stronger than she thinks.
Party of None
After leaving her family's rock farm, Pinkie Pie arrives in Ponyville for the first time. Being happy and excited about seeing so many ponies, she starts exploring the city and greeting everypony she sees until she comes across Sugarcube Corner and its owners, Mr and Mrs Cake. She manages to serve and please a few customers in Cakes' absence, so the married couple offers her a place to stay if she comes to work for them. Immediately accepting the offer, Pinkie becomes even more eager to start baking her special cupcakes.
A few years later, a teenage Pinkie has become depressed due to the unsuccessful start of her cupcake business. In a fit of rage, she goes into the Everfree Forest to brood and let off some steam. Once she’s done, Pinkie heads back towards Ponyville, where she comes across the abandoned Castle of the Two Sisters. Here, she finds ancient torture devices in a hidden dungeon beneath the castle, some of which date back to a time before Equestria was founded. The painful devices gives her new ideas, and she becomes fully motivated to build her own torture basement under the Sucarcube Corner. With several long weeks of work, Pinkie Pie's plan finally succeeds, and she starts kidnapping ponies sparsely. The story ends with Applejack asking her to babysit Apple Bloom, who immediately catches Pinkie’s eye as a potential pupil.
Late Bloomer
For the next few years, Pinkie Pie continues to babysit Apple Bloom, who now sees the local party pony as a second sister. Their relationship is put to the test when Pinkie Pie finds Apple Bloom crying behind the schoolhouse, where she informs Pinkie that she’s being bullied at school. It was no secret that Apple Bloom and her friends, the Cutie Mark Crusaders, were relentlessly teased by Diamond Tiara and her sidekick Silver Spoon. Pinkie tells Apple Bloom about how she got her cutie mark. Apple Bloom reminds Pinkie that she already told them that story, so Pinkie continues by explaining her experience moving to Ponyville. She describes her long list of failures, lamenting over her frustrations and homesickness, but stops herself before she can give away too much of her big secret. When Apple Bloom asks Pinkie how she got out of her creative rut, Pinkie tries to give a vague answer, replying that she simply learned how to bake and found a passion for it. Apple Bloom isn’t satisfied by this answer. She points out that Pinkie Pie was already living with the Cake Family and got her cutie mark by throwing a party with sweet treats, so she wasn’t discovering anything new about herself by baking; all she did was reconnect with her roots. Apple Bloom claims that, without a cutie mark of her own, she feels like she doesn’t have any roots to connect back to.
Apple Bloom is tired of trying over and over again to reach a seemingly impossible goal, as if trying to live by everyone else’s cutie mark stories is a type of magic that she can’t quite recreate for herself. She doesn’t want to do what everyone in her family does just because it’s what they expect of her. She wants to find her own path and pave a road to new possibilities. As Apple Bloom speaks, Pinkie Pie is oddly moved by her words. She sees herself in the little filly. Pinkie had been sick of failing, Pinkie never wanted to follow in her family’s footsteps, and Pinkie also wanted to create her own path! It was as if they were meant to find each other! Once Apple Bloom is done talking, Pinkie Pie immediately lures her into a deal. She’ll teach Apple Bloom how to make cupcakes. Not just any cupcakes! Special cupcakes, including the ones that helped Pinkie Pie get out of her own downward spiral. She claims that it’s a secret so special that only Apple Bloom can know, since the two ponies are so alike that they might as well be family already. Apple Bloom, already cheering up and taking comfort in Pinkie’s words, eagerly agrees. This is how Apple Bloom became Pinkie Pie’s apprentice.
Pinkie Pie is a very charismatic character throughout this entire series, but especially in this story. She is able to manipulate Apple Bloom by easing her into the concept of baking at a young age, telling her stories about Nightmare Moon and explaining each step of the process in a very matter-of-fact manner. As the two begin baking together, Apple Bloom tends to assist Pinkie by retrieving tools or utensils and watching from afar. By the time she’s going to kill her very first victim, Apple Bloom tells Pinkie Pie that she’s ready for anything, and the party pony showers her with praise.
This story wasn’t based off of anything in the original fanfiction, but we really wanted to include a proper origin story for Apple Bloom’s apprenticeship, especially since she was groomed and manipulated by Pinkie Pie in later chapters.
Broken Tiara
Right after Babs Seed leaves with a train to Manehattan and Applejack heads back to Sweet Apple Acres, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon return to bullying the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Diamond Tiara makes fun of Apple Bloom's dead parents, which results in Apple Bloom running off to convince Pinkie Pie to kill and make cupcakes out of Diamond Tiara. Pinkie is unsure of the idea at first, as she had already planned to kill someone else that week, but Apple Bloom is persuasive, and they both agree on the plan. Under the pretense of taste testing food, Pinkie invites over Diamond Tiara, offering her tea. Appropriately, the filly is knocked unconscious by the drugged beverage.
Diamond Tiara later wakes up to the scent of blood in the basement of Sugarcube Corner. Apple Bloom also reveals herself, ridiculing and toying with her. Diamond Tiara manages to show a little bravery until Apple Bloom begins slowly torturing her to death, all the while Pinkie cheerfully encourages her from behind. However, Apple Bloom grows bored when Diamond Tiara becomes unresponsive to the immense pain. Pinkie lectures her about resourcefully managing the play date's time, so Apple Bloom kills Diamond Tiara to get it over with. To her own shock, Apple Bloom finds herself beginning to tear up and cry, unable to process the trauma of killing someone with her own hooves. She’s brought back to reality by Pinkie Pie praising her good work. The story ends with the two bakers beginning to harvest organs for their next batch of cupcakes.
The Party Pony
The story starts with a rude apple vendor treating Derpy poorly for having the incorrect amount of money. She swore that she’d have enough money, but she’s having a hard time counting all of the coins, and the vendor is getting more frustrated every time she needs to slow down or start over. Quickly, Applejack comes by and offers to help Derpy out by giving her all of the apples she needs. After telling off the vendor for being so rude, Applejack takes Derpy out to Sweet Apple Acres, where she is introduced to Spike, Big Macintosh, Apple Bloom, and the Main 6; most notably, Pinkie Pie. Derpy is invited to join in on the Picnic they were all having, and she happily obliges. Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo eventually arrive as well, mentioning that Silverspoon was mourning the death of Diamond Tiara, who had been missing for days.
While playing with the Cutie Mark Crusaders and Pinkie Pie, Scootaloo asks Derpy why she wound up joining the picnic, where Derpy tells the four about her bad run-in with the apple vendor in town. The group are puzzled why a vendor would be so rude, but Derpy insists that it was her fault for taking too long. She has a hard time paying attention and focusing sometimes, so it was really hard for her to properly count the coins in her saddlebag, especially since the vendor’s rude remarks made her too anxious to properly process anything she was counting. Pinkie Pie seems to be listening to the pegasus more than the three fillies, as if she sees something that they don’t. When Derpy explains that she experiences the world and thinks differently than most ponies do, Pinkie Pie grins to herself, an idea being stowed away for later.

This is the classic creepypasta that everyone should know by now! Long story short, Pinkie Pie brings Rainbow Dash to Sugarcube Corner and drugs her. When she wakes up, Rainbow Dash is in the basement beneath Sugarcube Corner, where Pinkie tortures and kills her. Again, a total classic from the early age of grimdark fanfictions.
Silence is Silver
Silver Spoon wakes up in the basement beneath Sugarcube Corner, strapped to an operating table and unable to escape. Before Pinkie Pie can begin the dissection, Apple Bloom arrives, giving Silver some hope that she may be rescued. But Apple Bloom only chides Pinkie for not calling her to be the one to kill Silver Spoon, since the party pony had promised the bully would be hers. Pinkie sheepishly apologizes and hands the scalpel to Apple Bloom. As she begins to taunt her victim, Apple Bloom tells Silver that Diamond Tiara had begged them not to hurt her, so they waited until Silver’s number was picked naturally instead of pulling her early.
As the play date begins, Apple Bloom recounts the day she killed Diamond Tiara. She describes it as both satisfying and shameful, since she had cried after the deed was done. Killing someone herself had been much more traumatic than she anticipated. After the deed was done, they had begun to harvest her body’s organs together, and Apple Bloom found herself watching Pinkie work. Ever since she first became indoctrinated by her mentor, something inside of her had been slowly chipping away with each passing day; her empathy for other ponies. Once she killed Diamond Tiara, it had completely shattered, and in its place was a burning urge to ruin other ponies' lives. Apple Bloom wanted to cause others physical pain that equated her own emotional turmoil. While she watched Pinkie work, Apple Bloom felt a raw, violent urge to tackle her mentor to the floor and tear her to shreds. She wanted to bathe in the blood of the pony who coached her to be this way. Yet the urge vanished quickly, as if the small fragments of empathy left in her mind were slowly repaired. In that moment, she saw Pinkie as more than a mentor, but an older sister. If Applejack was no longer important to her in any meaningful way, the space in her mind had to be filled, so it seemed that Pinkie Pie would be the perfect candidate. Pinkie Pie was the very last pony she wanted to die.
Back in the present, Apple Bloom confesses to killing Diamond Tiara while she taunts Silver Spoon. Silver is shocked, but Pinkie happily cheers Apple Bloom on and claims that she’s been an incredible assistant ever since. The praise from her mentor drives Apple Bloom to continue. Before Apple Bloom gets very far, she notices that Silver has spaced out and questions her, curious what her victim is thinking about. SIlver Spoon explains that she wanted Diamond Tiara to like her, and she was so desperate for the popular girl’s approval that she created a bratty, snobby alter ego just to impress her. She was trying to be Diamond Tiara’s friend for the wrong reasons, favoring popularity and status over any genuine bond. She always watched the Cutie Mark Crusaders and wished to have what they did. This makes Apple Bloom pause. When Diamond Tiara pleaded with Apple Bloom, it had only been to save her own skin, but Silver was clearly being genuine and honest. She even apologized to Apple Bloom and lamented not doing the right thing sooner. Pinkie stares from the sidelines, expression devoid of emotion. Silver promises not to tell anyone if they let her go. She’ll invent any sort of lie to blame herself for the bodily injuries that occured during the play date. With Diamond Tiara gone, it will be easy for her to make amends with everyone and do better. Apple Bloom believes her. She realizes that she wants to let Silver Spoon go.
Pinkie Pie calls Apple Bloom over to the other side of the basement. Her eyes are dark and her voice is devoid of any emotion. Apple Bloom feels part of her empathy return once again, truly believing that Silver Spoon deserves to be released and have a second chance. Pinkie does not take this news well. She states that Apple Bloom must have wanted to kill Pinkie after Diamond Tiara’s death. Pinkie has been doing this since she was a filly like Apple Bloom, so she says she knows what the first kill feels like, but she wasn’t weak enough to buckle to the pressure. Pinkie tells Apple Bloom to kill her, even offering a knife to do the job. Apple Bloom is horrified and tries to refuse, but Pinkie taunts her for being afraid to kill someone. She’s already done it once, so doing it again should be the trick. Apple Bloom begins having a panic attack, but Pinkie pressed onwards. Pinkie says that she isn’t afraid. If you love something, you’ve got to let it go.
(TW: Suicide Attempt! This was in the original fanfic, but we want it to be very clear that it was wrong for Pinkie to do this. Not just because she endangered her own life, but because she is grooming and manipulating a child to become a killer.)
As Apple Bloom panics, Pinkie uses the knife to slit her own throat. She asks Apple Bloom if she’s afraid of losing Pinkie, to which the crying filly frantically agrees that she is. When Pinkie loses enough blood to faint, Apple Bloom shuts down. Devoid of any emotion, she brings over a medical cart. For the rest of the chapter, Apple Bloom tortures and kills Silver Spoon by draining her of blood, using it to give Pinkie enough blood to replace what she lost. Five days later, Pinkie wakes up in bed, greeted by Apple Bloom. Pinkie praises Apple Bloom once more, telling the filly she did a great job. Apple Bloom becomes serious and asks Pinkie why she risked her own life. Pinkie claims that Apple Bloom was slipping; she was losing herself and Pinkie had to bring her back. The story ends as the two lie together in the party pony’s bedroom, Apple Bloom promising to make Pinkie Pie proud.
Muffins
Pinkie Pie, who had killed Rainbow Dash two weeks beforehand, is waiting for her next victim, Candy Mane, to wake up in her secret basement. Unfortunately for her, she gets interrupted by an intruder; Derpy Hooves. At first, Derpy is put off by her grotesque surroundings, but Pinkie lies and tells her that every bakery has a room like this. Derpy is confused, noting how that doesn’t sound right, so Pinkie dismisses her concerns as if the pegasus simply doesn’t know what she’s talking about. After all, Derpy isn’t a baker, so how would she know any secrets of the trade? Derpy still stands her ground, so Pinkie takes another approach. She’s right, not every bakery has a room like this; only special ones do! Pinkie tells Derpy that she already knew about the basement, since Pinkie had told her months ago at the picnic. When Derpy denies this, Pinkie gently comments about Derpy’s poor memory and her struggles with focus, feigning innocence as she insists that Derpy must have simply forgotten. In fact, Derpy has already been in this basement before, according to Pinkie Pie, and that was why the door had been unlocked to let her in! Pinkie breathed a sigh of relief as the mare slowly fell victim to her web of lies, far too embarrassed to admit that she’d simply forgotten to lock the door in her rush to get Candy Mane downstairs.
Finally, Pinkie asks why Derpy is here, and Derpy asks Pinkie Pie for muffins. Not wanting to torture more than one pony at once, Pinkie takes advantage of Derpy's situation and convinces her to help with baking muffins. To "take out" the muffin's special ingredient from Candy Mane and to make the baking more fun, the duo torture their victim by removing her body parts, ultimately killing her by pulling out her organs. Throughout the process, Pinkie is certain to explain everything to Derpy with a very firm and authoritative tone, as if this process was extremely mundane. Her manipulation pays off when Derpy remains mostly unbothered by the horrors of their crime. Later that day, Pinkie, Derpy, and Apple Bloom enjoy the freshly baked tray of muffins. This is how Derpy is recruited as the second baker working under Pinkie.
Derpy's PaybackThis is the chapter where Derpy bakes special muffins for the first time. She selects her victim by choosing to target one of her old classmates from school, who had always bullied her for being so forgetful and scoring low on exams. His words were the source of many of the mare’s insecurities, so she’s sure to make his playdate extra painful. Murder horse shenanigans ensue.
The Revenge of Onyx Pie
Inkie and Blinkie still live on the rock farm with their parents. They have been continuing to bake cupcakes just as Pinkie always had, hoping to recreate the joy she used to share with them by partaking in her work. However, they don’t use any living ponies in their cakes, so they never taste quite right, The sisters are miserable on the farm, even more so when their parents become more strict. One of the few times they can release their pent up anger is when they’re baking together, which they now do out in a small underground cave at the edge of their family farm.
After returning from a trip selling cupcakes in the neighboring village, Inkie and Blinkie notice a pile of rocks near the side of the farmhouse. One of the stones seemed to have fallen off, revealing old planks of wood underneath. The sisters are curious enough to investigate, discovering the secret cellar beneath their home. This is where they find Minkie Pie, cold and alone. Inkie hides Minkie beneath a cloak while Blinkie rebuilds the rock pile atop the cellar doors, covering their tracks seamlessly before the three sisters flee to the baking cave. Once they’re safe, Minkie tells her sisters the story of how she wound up in the cellar. The girls spend the next few days catching up, sharing stories about their lives with one another and helping Minkie recover in the caves. They even tell her stories about Pinkie’s baking work during this time, and the concept is so unorthodox that Minkie finds herself fascinated by it. After so much time away in the cellar, she now struggles to grasp the concept of morality; all she knows is that she wants to learn how things work and create something new.
When their parents begin to call for the girls one night, Minkie is suddenly inspired. She wants to try baking cupcakes with her sisters, and she knows exactly who to use for the pastries. That night, the three sisters killed their parents, allowing Minkie to get her revenge and bake their flesh into her first batch of cupcakes.
The Pie Sisters Reunited
Inkie, Blinkie, and Minkie Pie all travel to meet with their sister Pinkie Pie in Ponyville. She is very excited to see her sisters again, but she is blown away when they introduce her to Minkie for the first time. The four sisters all gather together in Pinkie’s bedroom, where they recount the story of how Minkie was discovered and took revenge on their parents. They even brought Pinkie one of the cupcakes that Minkie made, as if all three siblings were seeking the party pony’s approval. Life on the farm was so grim and miserable; all three sisters would do anything to have Pinkie back in their lives again, longing for the laughter and joy her parties bring. Inkie and Blinkie were so broken down from their parents’ harsh ways that they pushed any thoughts of morality aside to join Pinkie’s baking work, and Minkie herself had simply been isolated for too long to know any better. Luckily for them, Pinkie Pie adores the cupcake and happily welcomes them to join her operation in Ponyville.
Meet the Team
Beyond excited to have her sisters here, Pinkie Pie introduces them to everyone. After getting the Cake Family acquainted with the three new mares, Pinkie invites Derpy and Apple Bloom to come meet them as well. Minkie is overwhelmed by the large crowd and runs back upstairs, returning to hide in Pinkie’s bedroom. The rest of the group follow her, where Pinkie gets the group properly acquainted. Minkie is cowering on the bed, overstimulated and afraid, but Derpy approaches to cheer her up. Inkie and Blinkie are very skeptical, worried that Derpy is harassing their eldest sister, but their distrust towards the newcomer quickly subsides when they see Minkie relax, clearly enjoying Derpy’s company. Apple Bloom is much harsher than the pegasus, unable to trust the three sisters so easily.
Next, Pinkie takes her sisters to the library, introducing them to Twilight Sparkle and Spike. Applejack, Fluttershy, and Rarity join them at the library shortly after, where Pinkie Pie recounts her three sisters’ tragic story to them as well (leaving out the part about baking, of course). The five friends are all in tears, moved by the tale and immediately sympathetic towards Minkie, who they feel guilty for being so offput by. Twilight offers Minkie a book when she notices the dark mare staring around the library shelves. Minkie is very eager to read after so many years away from the village library, but she’s worried about overstepping. Applejack insists that they’ll take care of her while she’s here, but Fluttershy is afraid of the strange pony. Minkie Pie seems to be oddly interested in Fluttershy, staring at the timid pegasus and watching her with a silent, eerie smile. Rarity suggests giving the girls makeovers at her boutique, and the three sisters agree to join Pinkie’s friends for the event on a later date.
Minkie Pie's Turn
This summary is very short, but that’s because there isn’t much story substance to note. There are a handful of installments in this series that are nothing more than graphic torture sequences, so they aren’t included in this rewrite unless they have plot relevance. The only important thing we see in this chapter is Minkie Pie joining the Ponyville baking operation by killing her first victims in the small town.
Free Like a Pegasus
It’s been a few weeks since the Pie sisters arrived in Ponyville! Derpy and Minkie spend some time exploring town together, bonding over their shared experiences as the odd one out. They were both considered to be outcast from society for thinking differently, so they take comfort in each other’s company. Minkie tends to be fairly pessimistic due to how anxious she is, but Derpy is far more outgoing and she always helps brighten Minkie’s day. The two have become an inseparable pair, even amongst their fellow bakers.
Minkie shows Derpy the scrapbook she’s begun working on, telling the pegasus about how she used to study insects and take notes at the library in a village by her family rock farm. She wants to document and photograph all of her new experiences so she can share them with her friends, but she also reveals that she started a second scrapbook for Derpy as well. Minkie talks about how she enjoys spending time with Derpy because of how well they understand each other. When Derpy told Minkie about her memory problems, Minkie made a second scrapbook to help Derpy keep all of her memories close, in case she ever needed to remember who her friends were. Derpy loves the gift, using Minkie’s camera to snap a picture of the two of them, placing it as the first picture in her new scrapbook. The two then decide to get more photos of different places in Ponyville, exploring the town as a pair. When Minkie mentions that she’d always wanted to find a way to fly, Derpy lets Minkie ride on her back and takes her on a flight around Ponyville. By the end of the chapter, the two mares realize that they like each other a lot more than any other friends do. They’re both a bit shy about it, but they’d like to try to start dating.
Apple Bloom Gets Her Cutie Mark
Applejack is lured to Sugarcube Corner by Apple Bloom, who claims that Pinkie Pie has a special surprise for the farmer. Applejack is knocked unconscious when they arrive, later waking up in the secret basement. All six bakers are present to witness the death of Applejack, who will be killed by Apple Bloom herself. Applejack lashes out, yelling at Pinkie Pie for manipulating Apple Bloom and Derpy into joining her terrible work, but Pinkie snaps and denies this fact. The group all cheer Apple Bloom on as she tears into her sister, dragging out her death to be painful and slow. The younger filly steps aside to let the other five bakers take care of the organ harvest, taking a moment to process everything. She’s conflicted and doesn’t know how to feel, all of her emotions very raw. Watching the other bakers laugh and joke together, Apple Bloom is reminded of her own friends, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo. The three fillies had all been outcasts in their class, but they formed a group to confide in one another. Despite the macabre scene before her, Apple Bloom is still touched to see the five bakers becoming such close friends. She is inspired by the genuine display of friendship and has a revelation.
No matter what happens next, Apple Bloom wants to help ponies understand themselves and learn to embrace their differences. She wants to create a world where ponies accept one another for being unique and create lasting friendships together.
At that moment, Apple Bloom gets her cutie mark; a heart shaped apple. The cutie mark’s true meaning was meant to symbolize her wish to inspire growth and self discovery in others. Unfortunately, Pinkie Pie claims that it was proof that her destiny was to be one of the bakers, since she got the cutie mark after killing Applejack. Without any other answer to her growing list of questions, APple Bloom agrees and helps bake the new batch of cupcakes.
Just a Little Girl Time
The six bakers and the surviving members of the mane 6 all meet at Rarity’s boutique to give each other makeovers. They discuss all of the recent disappearances while doing so. After the sun sets, everyone goes home. Fluttershy shows concern for Minkie strange behaviour, but Twilight dismisses it, saying it's only because Minkie had been locked up in the cellar for so long. At the Sugarcube Corner, the Pies discuss how fun the day was and imagine how much fun they'll have when Pinkie's friends' numbers finally come up. Minkie glues one of the group photos into a scrap book where she collects ponies' cutie marks and chuckles: "I can't wait to play with Fluttershy again."
Inkie's Shining Star
It was a gloomy day in Ponyville and Applejack’s disappearance is preventing most people from going outside. Inkie and Blinkie wander around the market together, bored out of their minds. The other four bakers are busy chaperoning Apple Bloom’s class trip to the museum. Blinkie claims that Minkie is turning into a geek, but Inkie reminds her that baking doesn’t have to be their sister’s only hobby, especially since they already knew Minkie likes to read. Suddenly, Inkie spots a beautiful pegasus mare at a craft vendor. The pegasus mare was lime green with brilliant, vibrant pink hair with blue highlights. Taken aback by the friendly mare’s otherworldly beauty, Inkie is drawn to her and gasps: “I want that pony. I NEED that pony!”
When the pegasus looks prepared to take flight, Inkie runs forward. She introduces herself as Pinkie Pie’s sister, and the pegasus mare gives her own name; Bellatrix. She’s an astrology major who recently moved to Ponyville to study the stars around this part of Equestria. She’s also an avid fan of rare rocks, immediately intrigued when Inkie informs her that the Pie family used to live on a rock farm. During this exchange, Inkie is practically head over heels for Bellatrix, fumbling and flustered to the point of needing to sit down. Blink tries not to gag, grumbling about how she hates pretty mares, clearly furious that her sister has become infatuated with one of them. Thus, Inkie’s plan begins. She spends the rest of the day with Bellatrix, then a week, and finally, three whole months. The two mares enjoy one another’s company, chatting away about rare minerals and gemstones. Inkie teaches Bellatrix how to play games with marbles. Bellatrix teaches Inkie how to stargaze. The fun comes to an end when Inkie’s obsession with the beautiful mare becomes overbearing. Spending time with Bellatrix isn’t enough, since the pegasus is all she can think about when they’re apart. She wants to have her all to herself, but she could never do that without Bellatrix discovering the bakers’ secret.
On Inkie’s 18th birthday, she invites Bellatrix to celebrate with her on a special date. The two mares had been an item for a few weeks now, so Inkie is ecstatic to properly welcome Bellatrix into her family, oblivious to her own impatience. The other five bakers are busy saying goodbye to the Cake Family at the train station, since the family has decided to leave town due to the rising number of disappearances, so the couple have Sugarcube Corner to themselves. Inkie brings Bellatrix down into the secret basement, happily showing off the gruesome display of trophies collected from each of their victims. Bellatrix is horrified and shocked. She insists that Inkie is too kind to do something so evil; she’s seen Inkie, the real one, and she knows that Inkie is a pony capable of love more than any other. Bellatrix asks Inkie to run away with her and leave this behind. They can report the bakers to the police and flee Ponyville. Inkie is torn, struggling to process the offer. This isn’t what she expected to happen. Everything about Bellatrix was perfect, so why didn’t Bellatrix react perfectly to her secret? Inkie insists that they can be happy here, trying to convince Bellatrix to join the bakers, but Bellatrix is appalled. She tells Inkie that she has to go. She won’t report the bakers to the police, since she loves Inkie too much to see her go to prison with her family, but she’s too devestated to stay here with her.
Inkie doesn’t take the breakup well at all. She yanks Bellatrix back and drags her farther into the basement, ignoring the mare’s frantic screams and pleas for mercy. Inkie wanted to have Bellatrix, so if she couldn’t have her, then nobody would. She kills the mare violently, but quickly regrets the act as soon as she sees the bloody stains on Bellatrix’s beautiful coat. She cries, but the deed is already done. When the other bakers return, they find that Inkie has made a small stuffed doll out of Bellatrix’s fur. She tells them that she wanted to have Bellatrix, and now she’ll be able to keep her forever.
The Fun Never Ends
The bakers finally kidnap the remaining members of the mane 6; Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, and Fluttershy. This chapter, just like many others, is essentially just a long torture sequence where the bakers successfully kill Rarity, but Twilight and Fluttershy actually manage to survive. Twilight was mentally scarred and broken down by the bakers, who taunted her for unknowingly letting her friends die. Fluttershy manages to escape her binds while the group is distracted by Twilight, running from the basement and finding a team of police officers outside. Spike had become worried when Twilight never returned home, and he already knew that Fluttershy was suspicious of the bakers, so he brought the police to investigate Sugarcube Corner. The police discover the basement after running into Fluttershy, immediately apprehending the four bakers.
Wait- FOUR?! There are supposed to be six! As it turns out, Apple Bloom and Derpy weren’t present for the play date, since they had gone out into the marketplace to retrieve important craft supplies for Minkie and Derpy’s scrapbooks. They hoped to return to capture a picture of the play date’s conclusion and add it to the books, only to find that the other four bakers are being taken away by the police and an ambulance has ushered the survivors to the hospital. Fluttershy told the police about Apple Bloom and Derpy, so the duo goes into hiding to avoid detection.
Three weeks later, Princess Celestia, Spike, and Fluttershy are finally able to retrieve Twilight from the mental hospital she’d been held in. She’s recovered enough to be brought home, much to Spike’s relief, but Celestia claims that she doesn’t want them to return to Ponyville. To better protect them from the bakers’ wrath, the princess brings Twilight and Spike to live with her in Canterlot Castle. Twilight’s brother, Shining Armor, had already been in Canterlot with his marefriend to prepare for their private wedding, but all of their plans were immediately put on hold when they got news of Twilight’s condition and the Ponyville disappearances. Shining Armor and his partner, Princess Cadance, both welcome Twilight and Spike to join them in protected chambers of the castle, enchanted heavily by Celestia herself. The princesses extend this invitation to Fluttershy as well, Princess Luna even offering to take the timid pegasus under her wing, but Fluttershy refuses and wishes to return to her family’s home up in Cloudsdale. Promising to visit Twilight and Spike, Fluttershy departs for the city in the sky.
On Trial
After being captured, all four Pie sisters were put on trial for kidnappings and murders of hundreds of ponies. Most of the story consists of the Pies defending themselves and arguing with both of the princesses, with each side attempting to make the other question or hate themselves. Their arguments don’t work on Princess Luna, who takes over the trial on her own once it becomes clear that Celestia is unfit to judge, too distraught over her student’s poor health. The story ends with the Pie sisters being sentenced to death. Outraged, Pinkie tries to claim that Luna is a murder as well, since Nightmare Moon had killed plenty of innocent ponies. Luna tells her that those stories aren’t true, and even if they were, the part of her that had once been Nightmare Moon was long gone. When Nightmare Moon was defeated, the remnants of her magic and essence had been lost to the depths of the Everfree Forest. Pinkie takes this news poorly at first, but stashes it away for later. After all, if she wanted to kill an alicorn, she’d need help from the one pony who had nearly pulled it off…
Grudge of a Bad Seed
In this installment, we learn the backstory of Babs Seed, who returned to Manehatten after meeting the Cutie Mark Crusaders in Ponyville. She isn’t eager to return to the relentless teasing of her peers, but the filly feels as if she doesn’t have any other choice, since she can’t sweet talk or impress them like she’d done with Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. Her older sister and legal guardian, Sunflower, tries to cheer Babs up by reminding her of the school’s upcoming career fair, where students are encouraged to give a presentation about the type of job they want to have when they’re older. Babs is immediately excited by this reminder, eager for the opportunity to show off some of the artwork she’d been working on. You see, Babs hangs out with a local group of graffiti artists in the city, and she’s been inspired to become an artist as well. She spends all of her free time painting murals with her best friend, an older student named Steel Cuff.
Babs’ bullies at school hear about her plans to give a presentation about her artwork at the career fair, mocking her for having such a frivolous hobby. Besides, she must be a pretty bad artist if she hasn’t gotten a cutie mark yet, and she can’t make a career out of street painting. Steel Cuff comforts her, reminding Babs that she can enjoy hobbies that don’t correlate to her special talent or job. Babs agrees, but she still tells him that she’s more determined than ever to get her cutie mark. Whether ponies like it or not, Babs is going to find a way to get a job as an artist.
She tries everything she can, but nothing seems to work. It’s only when Babs finally has enough of her lengthy bangs that she begins to cut hair, quickly finding a passion for the craft and earning her cutie mark. She returns to school with her head held high. Now that she’s no longer a blank flank, she believes her bullies will leave her alone. Instead, they corner her after school and beat her up. Steel Cuff arrives to scare the kids off and bring Babs home, where Sunflower gets her sister patched up. When Steel offers to teach Babs how to fight, Sunflower gives her permission to teach her bullies a lesson, promising to take the two kids out for ice cream afterwards. After a rigorous amount of training from Steel, Babs returns to school once more, beating her bullies in a fight with ease. In fact, she even does enough damage to land them in the hospital. She wants to celebrate with Steel, but he informs her that his family is moving away from Manehatten due to all of the disappearances in a nearby town, Ponyville. She wishes him well and agrees to meet him back here in the city when all of the crime is over.
A few weeks later, a disguised Apple Bloom and Derpy arrive in Manehatten to meet with Babs, asking for her to help them break the bakers out of prison. Babs is taken aback by this jarring turn of events. She’d never even committed a crime, let alone killed anyone! But Apple Bloom is one of the only friends she has, so she reluctantly agrees to come help them. Apple Bloom plans to meet her at the train station at the end of the week, once they’ve gathered the supplies they’ll need for the prison break, leaving Babs with a small booklet of apple facts as an alibi. Babs lies to Sunflower and says the Apple Family in Ponyville need her help on the farm, since Apple Bloom and Applejack are both out of the picture, and Sunflower agrees to help her pack. While packing, Babs browses the booklet of apple facts, pausing when she reads about the poison within an apple seed. This gives her an idea.
Babs grinds up a large quantity of apple seeds and gives them to her bullies after school one day, telling them it’s a peace offering between them. It’s a new underground drug called ‘dirt’, hence the dirt-like appearance of the dust. She tricks them into taking the fake drug, watching the poison of the crushed apple seeds kill them. Rather than feeling victorious, Babs is utterly horrified by her actions, but the rush of adrenaline she feels in the moment is enough to make her flee the scene. It’s too late to back out now. The next morning, she boards a train to Ponyville with Derpy and Apple Bloom.
Prison BreakDerpy, Apple Bloom, and Babs Seed break the bakers out of prison. How did they do this? We aren’t really sure! Our only insight on the event is a series of interviews in a local newspaper. However, it is speculated that they used some sort of enchanted skeleton key, one that hasn’t been manufactured since the dark ages of Equestria. As it turns out, the ancient torture devices weren’t the only thing that Pinkie took from the abandoned Castle of the Two Sisters.
The Last Crusade
Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, and Babs Seed are all spending time together at Sweetie’s house. They pass the time by drawing pictures, lamenting the fact that the bakers’ escape put new curfews and rules in place. No children could leave their homes without the company of an adult to supervise them. Babs seems to be much jumpier than usual, her entire body wracked with anxiety that she can’t control. Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle assume that their friend is grieving the fact that Apple Bloom had been one of the murderous bakers, which is technically true, even if it isn’t the full story. Babs is overcome with guilt. She wishes that she never came to Ponyville to help with the prison break, but what other options did she have? She already killed her bullies in Manehatten, and she didn’t want to go to prison. She didn’t want to hurt anyone else either, though. Babs wants to go home to her sister, but she’s still in too deep. She can’t.
The three friends eventually begin to talk about what happened. Scootaloo doesn’t want to discuss anything about Apple Bloom, but Sweetie Belle is furious that their friend didn’t quit once her mentor began killing innocent ponies. Babs informs her friends that Apple Bloom was probably brainwashed by Pinkie, since she hangs off of the party pony’s every word. While her two friends begin to bicker about what to do about their boredom, Babs quietly considers her own options. Nobody knew she was hanging out with the Cutie Mark Crusaders, so she was safe here. The bakers were hiding out in the abandoned castle Pinkie found in the Everfree Forest, which they had slowly been transporting their torture devices and other supplies. The only reason that she wasn’t with them was because nobody knew she helped the bakers escape prison, so Pinkie Pie let her go spend some time in Ponyville to avoid raising any possible suspicion. Pinkie also told Babs to see if there were any ponies foolish enough to be wandering around town alone, ordering the filly to lure them out into the Everfree Forest to fall victim to the bakers’ trap. Babs was afraid of losing another friend, so the very last thing she wanted was to lure Scootaloo or Sweetie Belle out into that forest.
Unfortunately for her, the two other fillies had already decided how to cure their boredom; visiting Zecora in the Everfree Forest! Babs wanted to scream from how morbidly ironic this was. Babs tries to come up with all sorts of excuses and reasons why they shouldn’t go, but her friends have already made up their minds, telling Babs that she should meet Zecora to get some fresh air instead of staying cooped up at the farmhouse all day. Despite Babs’ protests, the three fillies sneak out and rush off to the forest. As soon as they hit the treeline, the trio is ambushed by the bakers, who had been awaiting Babs’ return. Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle are unceremoniously killed right in front of Babs Seed, who is helpless to save them. Inkie and Blinkie take the bodies out to their new lair at the castle, but the other bakers stay behind with Babs. Apple Bloom has frozen up, shocked that her two best friends were the ponies they decided to kill. She’s already been manipulated into replacing Applejack with Pinkie Pie in her mind, but the Cutie Mark Crusaders? She could never think of anyone having that sort of friendship with her. Pinkie Pie begins to praise Babs for bringing not one but TWO ponies from Ponyville, but she stops when she notices that Apple Bloom is starting to cry. Quickly, Pinkie changes tactics and flips the script, acting as if she is hurt by Babs’ choice of victims. She declares that Babs turning against the Cutie Mark Crusaders was uncalled for and cruel. If she had known who they were ambushing, she would have never hurt Apple Bloom’s dear friends. It would have been like Pinkie attacking Derpy or one of her own sisters! The CMC had shared a very close bond with both Apple Bloom and Babs Seed, but Babs went against them. Even as a baker, you never go against your own.
Babs is petrified, trying to argue that Pinkie had done the exact same thing by killing most of her own close friends, but Pinkie is sure to interrupt her before she can make that point. Pinkie concludes that Babs isn’t fit to be a baker because she betrayed Apple Bloom’s trust by killing both of their two best friends. She tells the filly to run, because Pinkie Pie will kill her if they ever cross paths again, furious on Apple Bloom’s behalf. Babs and Apple Bloom exchange one final glance before Babs flees the scene and runs away. Pinkie Pie immediately turns to comfort Apple Bloom as soon as Babs is gone, stroking her mane and whispering reassurances to the shellshocked filly. She talks about how she never knew that Babs would want to kill the CMC and is heartbroken that she betrayed Apple Bloom by doing so. Apple Bloom is too traumatized to even argue, leaning into Pinkie’s gentle embrace and accepting her kind words. Minkie and Derpy exchange puzzled looks nearby, both slightly offput by this series of events. The story ends with Pinkie promising to let Apple Bloom decide what they do with her friend’s corpses out of respect and love for her late friends.
The New Status Quo
Over the course of three days, the bakers completely overthrow and demolish Ponyville. They used large numbers of traps and weapons to create a wall enclosing the town, trapping civillians inside and shooting down any pegasi who tried to fly off or escape. The six bakers aren’t physically capable of defeating an entire town on their own, even with the large amount of weapons they posess, so they instead resort to another tactic used in ancient Equestrian torture. While moving into the abandoned castle, they discovered an old library full of ancient recipes and spells, one of which could create a toxic fume capable of knocking ponies unconscious. They spent weeks preparing a large quantity of the chemical and stashed it around the borders of the town, releasing all of the fumes into Ponyville at once. Pegasi passing by noticed that Ponyville was covered in a mysterious cloud of smog, quickly flying to Canterlot to alert the princesses. By the time that Princess Celestia and Luna arrive at the scene with a fleet of royal guards, it’s already too late. The fumes have cleared and nearly half of Ponyville’s population is gone. The remaining civillians are relocated with the help of the Equestrian military. Princess Celestia oversees the operation while Princess Luna returns to Canterlot to defend their home base and spread news of this new threat. They know that the bakers are still somewhere near Ponyville, since they have no unicorns and couldn’t have used magic to teleport such a large number of ponies very far away. Princess Celestia nearly uses her own magic to blast across the remains of the newly evacuated Ponyville and its surrounding forest, but one of her best guards, Porter Skyspear, insists that they come up with a less destructive plan. She says that they can find the bakers’ hideout and rescue all of the missing ponies if they can get a spy brought into the bakers’ team.
Meanwhile, Apple Bloom was the only baker to not participate in the hostile attack on Ponyville. She had been disposing of her friends’ bodies instead, having chosen to bury them both at a proper gravesite. She begins to feel guilt much more intensely than ever before, and she regrets not giving her sister the burial she deserved. Apple Bloom starts to wonder what would have happened if she let Pinkie Pie die instead of killing Silver Spoon. Her thoughts are interrupted by the return of her fellow bakers, who all greet her with armfuls of treats they stole from Ponyville during the attack. They tell her to take the rest of the day off to recover while they take care of the new prisoner set-up, offering words of comfort and kindness. Pinkie makes a point to be the most enthusiastic out of everyone in the group, telling Apple Bloom that they have a special surprise for her.
Together, the bakers had converted the princesses’ old bedroom into a remodeled room for Apple Bloom; a personal space that she could use however she pleased. They brought her toys and other belongings from the CMC’s old clubhouse, mentioning that they hope to retrieve her other stuff as well once they have access to Sweet Apple Acres. Apple Bloom is so moved by this genuine display of affection for her that she hugs all of the bakers, thanking them for being the best friends a pony could ever ask for. Blinkie agrees to keep Apple Bloom company and play games with her in the new bedroom while the other bakers take care of the prisoners downstairs, utilizing the castle’s dungeons to hold everyone.
Sting Operation
A new pony named Artifice Spade enters Ponyville to meet the other six bakers, who are extremely confused how a random unicorn would want to return to the abandoned town all alone. She adorns herself with goth makeup and scene accessories, claiming to be a tortured soul who admires the bakers, hoping to join their team. After they take some time to warm up to her, the bakers bring Spade her their lair in the Everfree Forest, giving her a grand tour of the building. Throughout the tour, the bakers and Spade get along surprisingly well, but Pinkie Pie is oddly cold and distrant during each interaction. She doesn’t like the idea of welcoming a baker to the team if it wasn’t someone that she had chosen; it gives her less control over the team and risks the others questioning her authority as leader.
By the end of the tour, Spade slips up when she sees a room full of corpses and slaughter trophies, accidentally revealing her true nature. Artifice Spade is actually a unicorn soldier named Porter Skyspear, a spy working with the princesses attempting to capture and sentence the bakers. Pinkie is secretly relieved, using this opportunity to turn the bakers against Porter and have her locked up with the rest. The princesses would never know what became of their precious spy, and Pinkie sees that as a much greater victory than giving them any sort of closure regarding her disappearance. The bakers celebrate yet another victory together, playing games and taking photographs for the scrapbooks all night. While everyone else sleeps peacefully through the night, Pinkie keeps herself awake scheming and jotting down all sorts of plans at her new work station. She couldn’t risk having the princesses send another spy, especially not after seeing how easily swayed her team could be by any newcomer with a tragic sob story. Thinking back to their trial, Pinkie smiles, preparing a map for their next mission. Together, they would locate the remnants of Nightmare Moon and use that power to defeat Celestia. Once she falls, the lesser alicorns would follow, and Pinkie Pie would be able to rule all of Equestria beneath her hoof. Unable to contain her excitement at the prospect, she cackles, and her horrible laughter echoes through the castle hallways as her friends sleep.
The Ending of Muffins Rescripted
As we already know, the original fanfiction never received a proper ending, but the author did leak their plans for a potential finale in a blog post. If the original fanfic were to continue, it would end with all of the bakers becoming alicorns and ruling the world. This ending is NOT canon to Icing on the Cake, also known as Muffins Rescripted. In fact, Rainbott actually wrote their own list of ideas for a potential ending to their iteration of the story.
These stories do not have proper summaries yet, but if enough people are interested in reading them, Rainbott will consider writing out each chapter’s storyline for this page.
Who Are We?
This installment would act as a recap of the story up until this point, reintroducing us to all of the relevant characters and their current situation. Apple Bloom would be the one we follow through the chapter, watching her interact with each baker as she runs around the castle. Pinkie is busy planning something in her study, Derpy is working on her scrapbook, Minkie is reading about Equestrian history, Inkie is doing her makeup with the Bellatrix doll close by, and Blinkie is venting her frustrations by demolishing trees outside of their base. Apple Bloom is worried enough to go check on the older mare, who had promised to play games with Apple Bloom earlier that day. The two share a tender moment together before they're interrupted by something falling onto Blinkie Pie's head from the trees above. It appears to be an injured baby bird that injured its wing. Seeing such a young creature hurt stirs something in Blinkie, a protective instinct that she thought had been lost after Inkie grew up. Blinkie makes Apple Bloom promise to keep the bird a secret before she takes the young animal off to her room, planning to raise it back to health. She named the bird Twig.
Seeds of Doubt
A story following Babs Seed and Apple Bloom as they each navigate through complicated relationships with family, contrasting the two characters against one another. Babs reunites with Steel Cuff when she returns to Manehatten, forced to decide if she reveals the bakers' secrets or not, afraid of putting her family in danger. Meanwhile, Apple Bloom begins to notice Pinkie Pie acting differently than she used to, surprised to see her mentor acting so controlling and cruel whenever Apple Bloom's back is turned. Because of this, she begins to doubt Pinkie's intentions.
The Nightmare Returns
Pinkie manages to track down the remnants of Nightmare Moon's magic, but it seems that someone else had got to it first. We are introduced to the story of Vesper. When Nightmare Moon was defeated, her remnant returned to the Everfree Forest, where Vesper was the unlucky pony to find it. They live farther out in the forest, past the ruins of the ancient castle, where they watch life pass by in a different small town from the edge of the woods. This town is Dodge City, where a pretty unicorn mare, Love Letter, lives with her best friend, Spectrum Songbird. The story of Vesper is framed as a traditional villain's tragic backstory, where he was outcast from his home after Nightmare Moon's remnant latched onto them. Vesper and Love are head over heels for one another, yet they are forced to remain apart in the public eye, since ponykind sees Vesper as a monster. This story is meant to be extremely high-fantasy and theatrical, which heavily contrasts with the grimdark and macabre nature of the bakers' own storyline. It would be as if characters from a MLP Creepypasta infiltrated the story of a canon villain in the MLP TV show. That's the idea we're going for! Pinkie and the other bakers would go on to recruit Vesper as the honorary seventh baker, where they plan to expand their operation and become powerful enough to defeat the princesses.
Weathering
In return for Vesper's aid, the bakers agree to help them as well, namely by giving the unicorn more chances to spend time with Love Letter. To avoid having Spec investigate Love's rising number of absences, one of the bakers must infiltrate Dodge City to pose as a new friend joining Love and Spec's social circle. Blinkie is the one who gets stuck with the job, but she's surprised when she finds herself enjoying Spec's company. At first Blinkie is overwhelmed and upset to be back in a city after so long, so she copes by lashing out in anger. Instead of getting frustrated with Blinkie's outbursts, Spec catches her off guard by asking what's wrong and offering to take them both someplace quieter. The pair form an unlikely friendship over the next few weeks, but it is one that is cut short when Pinkie decides that they're wasting too much time on Spec. Pinkie claims that it would be easier just to kill the mare, so they do.
Blinkie is heartbroken after Pinkie refused to listen to any of her ideas for alternate solutions, but Pinkie is fed up with so many ponies stepping out of line. She berates and shouts at Blinkie for losing herself and becoming weak. Blinkie denies it, but Pinkie proves her point by revealing that she discovered Twig being kept in Blinkie's room. The baby bird was now almost fully healed, but it dies when Pinkie Pie mercilessly stomps on it. The other bakers are all appalled seeing this outburst from Pinkie, who is beginning to struggle with holding her perfect image together, especially now that they're so close to her goal. Blinkie runs away, leaving the other bakers to stare at Pinkie's disheveled state in awe. When she sees that they're all appalled and upset with her, Pinkie goes on a deranged tirade, claiming that she's doing all of this for their own good. Everything she's ever done was always for them, so the least they could do is be grateful enough to stop staring. Blinkie begrudgingly returns to the lair later that night, but when Pinkie tries to sweet talk her and apologize, Blinkie coldly shoves her off. She's staying on the team for the other bakers, NOT for Pinkie Pie. Tensions rise as Blinkie storms off to her room, the other bakers dispersing shortly after. Vesper confronts Pinkie once she's alone, angry with the mare for killing Love's best friend. To reign in the unicorn, Pinkie threatens to do the same to Love Letter herself if they act against her. Vesper leaves once they are satisfied with the knowledge that the bakers will spare Love Letter, only claiming victims from other ponies in town. In secret, Pinkie begins to search for a way to control Nightmare Moon's remnants and take the power for herself.
Blood Runs ThickerInkie Pie reunites with their long lost fifth sister, Maud Pie. The two discuss the state of their family and recount events from their own personal lives. In the end, Inkie invites Maud to join the bakers, but she refuses and returns to her home in the mountains. Inkie is left with a lot to think about.
Reflection
A short story about the relationship between Minkie and Derpy! We see how they've developed together and grown as ponies. The pair is also starting to notice something amiss among the bakers, especially their leader, Pinkie Pie. The pair discuss their potential future together. They consider adopting kids, but then they question if Pinkie would kill the kids for stepping out of line. The pair decides to change subjects after that awful thought.
A Glimmer of Hope
The seven bakers expand their operation beyond Dodge City, leaving most of the town untouched so Love Letter doesn't feel threatened by any disappearances. Ever since they killed Spec, Vesper has been keeping a very close eye on all six of their fellow bakers, so Pinkie is trying to keep the unicorn pleased while she searches for a way to control them. The team make stops in all sorts of places as they travel, but they take the most interest in a small village of ponies with equal signs as cutie marks. As the bakers close off the isolated town to begin slaughtering the populace, Apple Bloom runs into the mayor, Starlight Glimmer. The two talk about all that's happened, which is much easier now that Apple Bloom has begun to question Pinkie's actions much more than before. The filly even fears that she doesn't understand what her cutie mark is meant to mean anymore, an idea that she deeply resents. Starlight had just returned from a trip to the Canterlot Archives, where she stole all sorts of powerful scrolls and spells. She'd wanted to use them to protect her village from potential intruders, but she gives one of the scrolls to Apple Bloom instead. Starlight is ashamed that she couldn't fix her problem with cutie marks, but maybe this scroll's spell will be powerful enough to help Apple Bloom solve the problem with her cutie mark instead. After the bakers harvest organs and supplies from everyone in the village, including Starlight herself, the seven ponies leave. Back in her room, Apple Bloom finally inspects the scroll she'd been given, and she is shocked to find that it's some sort of time travel spell.
Storming the Castle
After many months of preparation, the seven bakers team up to break into Canterlot Castle. The team has grown close enough to be considered a family, even bringing Vesper into their group dynamic. Everyone is still a bit on edge around Pinkie after her outburst, but they've mostly moved past it. The only one to never forgive Pinkie is Blinkie herself, who shuns the party pony and ignores her attempts to charm Blinkie back onto her side. After using all sorts of ancient relics and magical conduits they stole from the Canterlot Catacombs, Vesper turns into a dark alicorn; Nightmare Crescent. Princess Celestia has been using her magic to repair Twilight Sparkle's broken horn, which had been torn off when the bakers kidnapped her many months ago. Because of this, Celestia is very weak, and she is defeated in a battle with Nightmare Crescent. Princess Luna and Cadance immediately come to defend Equestria's ruler, but it's already too late. The Elements of Harmony have been useless ever since the mane 6 fell apart, so the two lesser alicorns have no way to stop Nightmare, who strikes them both down with ease. After the deed is done, the other bakers begin to dispatch the royal guards coming their way, but Nightmare is distracted when Pinkie calls for them.
Pinkie reveals that she had forged a letter from Vesper, asking Love to meet them in the Canterlot Gardens for a very special surprise. The unicorn mare arrives as instructed, clearly expecting a proposal, but Pinkie Pie uses a crossbow to pierce her throat before Nightmare can process anything. Heartbroken, the dark alicorn quickly comes to Love's side, desperately trying to save her. Love dies in their embrace, and the other bakers soon arrive in the garden to comfort their teammate. However, Pinkie suddenly emerges from the shadows with a knife, slamming it into Nightmare Crescent's throat. They revert into their true form as Vesper, unceremoniously bleeding out beside Love's body. Pinkie Pie explains that she wanted to control the remnants of Nightmare Moon, but she couldn't figure out anything that would work. Instead, she discovered a way to steal the magic for herself instead. By using an artifact stolen from a powerful tyrant named Lord Tirek, Pinkie is able to steal the magic of other creatures for herself, including other ponies. After she steals the remnants of Nightmare Moon, she also collects the magic from all three fallen alicorns, using the power to ascend into alicornhood herself. Once she becomes an alicorn, Pinkie Pie finally goes completely crazy, dropping her controlled facade to descend into complete, utter madness. The remaining bakers are horrified, even more so when the wicked alicorn says they can all rule Equestria together. If they are loyal to her, she will let them join her as fellow princesses, and this idea is what prompts Pinkie to focus on Apple Bloom. Apple Bloom has always been Pinkie Pie's favorite baker and apprentice. Since she had Pinkie as her own personal mentor, Apple Bloom is the ideal pony to rise up and rule at her side, especially since Pinkie is delusional enough to believe that Apple Bloom would never be able to go against her. In a moment of weakness, Apple Bloom doesn't know what to say, but she agrees to rule with Pinkie after something clicks in her brain. She becomes giddy with excitement, praising Pinkie and claiming to be honored that the party pony chose her. Pinkie is satisfied by this answer, using her magic to turn Apple Bloom into an alicorn as well. After this, Pinkie turns to address the other bakers, so she doesn't notice Apple Bloom retrieving a particular scroll from her saddle bags across the throne room. By the time that Pinkie does notice, it's too late. Apple Bloom uses her new alicorn magic to cast the spell and go back in time.
Second Chance
Apple Bloom successfully rewinds time back to the time when she just became Pinkie Pie's apprentice. She finds herself standing in the basement with an unconscious Diamond Tiara strapped to the operating table. When Pinkie offers her a knife, she slowly moves back. Apple Bloom tries to lie, but it doesn't work. Pinkie Pie pulls her aside, an unnaturally wide smile across her face. She says that Apple Bloom must have brought them back in time because she wanted to relive her very first kill, and the thrill of the craft would be ruined if they were all-powerful alicorns. Apple Bloom is frightened, asking how the party pony knew about the time scroll, and Pinkie Pie casually informs the filly that her Pinkie sense alerts her of any continuity breaks in their world's accepted canon. Despite all logic, Pinkie remembers everything. Pinkie Pie grins. They can do everything again, but even better this time! They'll find a way to keep Fluttershy from escaping. They'll kill Babs before she can lure the CMC to the ambush. They'll do everything together, just like it was meant to be, and Pinkie Pie will be Apple Bloom's only REAL sister until the end of time. Before Pinkie can get another word in, Apple Bloom sees her opening and bolts, fleeing Sugarcube Corner and racing through town. Apple Bloom immediately goes to Twilight's library, having her send an urgent letter to Princess Celestia and call the police to investigate Pinkie Pie's basement. The chapter ends as Pinkie is apprehended by police and Diamond Tiara is returned to her family, terrified and crying for mercy. As the police wagon pulls away, Applejack places a protective hoof on Apple Bloom's shoulder, and Pinkie Pie gives Apple Bloom a wicked, knowing smile.
The Root of Evil
A six year timeskip occurs! Apple Bloom is now a teenager, 16 years old. We catch up on the lives of the bakers in the future and learn about what happened to each of the characters. Apple Bloom became the second student of Princess Celestia, writing to the alicorn about her recovery from the alternate timeline's trauma and sharing the new friendship lessons she learns. Apple Bloom is also a friendship ambassador who travels Equestria with Twilight Sparkle, who went on to become the Princess of Friendship and ascend into alicornhood. Since Twilight is a princess and Apple Bloom is still a minor, the pair have to be accompanied by one of Celestia's best royal guards on each mission; specifically, Porter Skyspear.
Igneous Rock and Cloudy Quartz were arrested shortly after Apple Bloom led the princesses to free Minkie Pie from the cellar. Inkie and Blinkie had never used dead ponies in their cupcakes like Pinkie did, since they hadn't yet met Minkie nor killed their parents at this time. However, the two had known about Pinkie's actions and even contributed to the secret operation as fillies, so they were both charged with four years in prison and two years in a rehabilitation program. Celestia believes that they were manipulated by their sister as fillies and wants to give them a second chance to have a better life. In the present, Inkie and Blinkie just got finished their rehabilitation program and moved into Ponyville. Just like last time, Inkie met Bellatrix in the marketplace and was immediately head over heels for the beautiful mare. Yet this time, instead of spiraling into a murderous fit, Inkie becomes an artist that has her paintings displayed in famous art installations. Inkie's greatest muse is her marefriend, Bellatrix, who joins her to go stargazing at night and create paintings inspired by the night sky. Blinkie is alone for a lot longer, but she eventually meets Spec when she travels to visit Love Letter in Ponyville. Spectrum Songbird has now become a travelling musician, and her shows are doing incredibly well now that nobody is scared of going outside. The two become good friends, and Blinkie eventually gets a job as Spec's personal bodyguard. Also, yes, Twig does still get found by Blinkie while she's doing community service to clean up the abandoned castle with other prisoners. The princess sees the young bird as a way to begin Blinkie's rehabilitation early, so she was allowed to keep it, and now Twig is her loyal pet. We gave the bird a happy ending! Huzzah!
Minkie and Derpy had met outside of the Ponyville police station, where Minkie was waiting to hear what would become of her sisters. Derpy introduces herself and comforts the dark pony, where the pair quickly recreate the original spark they shared when they met last time. In the present, they're a happily married couple in Ponyville, both now very close friends with Apple Bloom. The couple owns a flower shop and sometimes teach gardening classes together. They deliver flowers to Fluttershy's animal sanctuary, where Minkie loves to watch the butterflies. The two also make new scrap books together, filling them with all sorts of wonderful memories over the years.
Pinkie Pie is severed from her connection with the Element of Laughter once she's imprisoned, but the princesses are now faced with the task of finding a new bearer for the element. Luckily, the element is naturally drawn to it's next rightful bearer, and it just so happens to be a bubbly unicorn who lives in Dodge City. Love Letter is baffled and honored, promising to do her best to spread joy everywhere she goes. However, she does have one small favor to ask of the princesses before she moves to live with the other Elements of Harmony in Ponyville. This is how Princess Luna finds Vesper, comforting them and helping the unicorn embrace their darker magical powers. Vesper becomes Princess Luna's student, a title that quickly dissolves everyone's previous fear of the mysterious pony. Vesper lives in Canterlot, but they spend a lot of time in Ponyville with Love Letter and Spec, who visits from her own home in Dodge City. Babs Seed lived a relatively normal life. Without the bakers' interference, she still stood up to her bullies, but she never killed them or went too far. Because there were no disappearances, Steel Cuff's family never had to move away.
Pinkie Pie remains in prison for all six years until Canterlot is able to prepare a proper execution plan for her death penalty. She is going to be executed in one month. Apple Bloom used to visit her at first, but she eventually stopped when she realized Pinkie wasn't going to change. Apple Bloom decided to move on and focus on her recovery instead.
The End
There would have been at least four additional short stories that take place after the timeskip; Stargazing (a chapter about Bellatrix and Inkie), Vindication (a chapter where Porter and Applejack talk to Applebloom about the other timeline), Playdate (a chapter where Love Letter visits the former Element of Laughter, Pinkie Pie, in prison), and Execution Day.
There is nothing to note about these chapters aside from Execution Day, which acts as the finale to the series and wraps up each of the characters' stories in a satisfying way. Apple Bloom and the other reformed bakers all go to Canterlot for Pinkie Pie's execution, where she will be publicly beheaded by an ancient guillotine from the Castle of the Two Sisters. Twilight tries to tell Apple Bloom that she doesn't have to watch this, but Apple Bloom insists that she has to. She has to see it. She has to know that her former mentor is really gone. Twilight understands this, since she feels a similar way and craves closure of her own, so they join the crowd of onlookers as Pinkie is brought up to the guillotine. Apple Bloom reflects on all that she's done to reach this point, standing in the front row of the crowd and anxiously awaiting the event about the transpire. She feels that she has overcome her guilt and has grown into a better person after recovering from the trauma that Pinkie's grooming had caused. Yet when Pinkie Pie is placed in the guillotine, she spots Apple Bloom in the front of the crowd, speaking to the young mare one last time before the blade swings down.
"It's been so long since we last spoke, Apple Bloom. I was worried that you wouldn't want to see me like this, but I should have known that you'd need to be one of the first to see me off. After all, you were the best apprentice I ever had!" The blade clicks into place as Pinkie Pie smiles, wicked and cruel.
"Oh, and Apple Bloom? Say hi to Applejack for me!"
The blade crashes down.
That night Minkie falls asleep during dinner only to later wake up in the cellar.
Finally, in the present again, Minkie’s parents were fully convinced that she was a child of Discord; a pony brought into the world to sow the seeds of chaos and evil into all that they touched.
Cupcakes
